God Made Moms To Teach Kids....Wisdom Comes With Age

After having conversations with two of sons this past weekend about using their heads(brains). I was told I was just old fashioned. We were having a talk about managing time, what they watch on tv, turning in homework on time, getting to work and class on time, paying attention to how they speak to their parents and brothers, the way they wear their clothes, on being a responsible person (Employee, son, brother, boyfriend, friend)and about who they call friend. After being told I was being old fashioned, I told them time will tell. I also reminded them that I was once their age and had learned from experience. Experience had been my teacher and every lesson she served wasn't an easy one, sometimes I had to learn the hard way. I took from the conversation that somethings I will have to let them learn on their own. But one thing is sure, wisdom comes with age rather they decide to use it or not, it is their decision. So when the consequences come rather good or bad, and i pray that it's all good, I will remind them that WISDOM COMES WITH AGE. Living wiser could provide them a long life.
