God Made Moms To Teach Their Children To...Follow Their Hearts
Have you ever heard your child say they want to be this or that when they grow up? Well my children have surprised me with some of jobs they want to take on. I use to try and redirect them by saying why don't you become a doctor or a dentist, even a lawyer. I don't want you to become a rock star or a zoo keeper. Well God placed on my heart to nurture them where they are, even if their stuck on being a alligator trainer when they grow up. Allow them to follow their hearts, if their dreams are to be something or somebody I didn't want to be or never thought about being. God can use them in whatever role they decide. He laid on my heart to encourage and support them in their dreams of being someone or something different then what I'm use to seeing or hearing. As I watch the political campaign and watch my kids idolize and support Barack Obama. I think did his mother encourage him to follow his heart. I believe she did and look what happened. Barack Obama is following his heart and pursuing his dream of becoming President. Let's start today, if we haven't already, encouraging our children to follow their own hearts and not what we have in our hearts for them. Our heart's desire should be to see them happy and successful in whatever their hearts lead them to do.
