God Made Moms To Teach Their Children...Matthew 6:9-13
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen
The Lord's prayer is the manner in which we should pray. This is a guide Jesus said we should use/follow in addressing the Father in our prayer. It's recognizes who He is and that we desire His will for us. It offers thanks for all He has provided to us and for us. It encourages us to forgive and seek forgiveness so we can receive forgiveness. The prayer leads us to seek God's presence, because in His presence we can not be so easily tempted, His presence can keep us from going astray. In closing, it acknowledges God's kingdom, His power, and all His glory. The Lord's prayer as carried me through some tough times. I appreciate knowing how to pray, especially when i needed to pray.
Be blessed and encouraged today, it's your choice. ~ Delphine
