God Made Moms....To Teach Their Children That The Feeling of Envy Is Normal
Ladies, the feeling of envy is indeed normal, it is what's done with that feeling of envy that matters. We all have had feelings of envy some time or another, after all we were born in a world of sin, but the coming of Jesus changed that. When we accept Christ, we are reborn, the feeling of envy...that envious state of jealousy should not be able to manifest itself or exist in us. We are empowered to do what normal folk can not do, so our feelings and actions should not be that of the norm. We have been empowered through Christ Jesus, we can put on the full armour of God, we are equipped to conquer and control those ungodly feelings. As a mother to other mothers, as a wife to other wives, as a sister to other sisters -- stop the madness and break the cycle of jealousy that is being passed down to our children. Our children are watching and listening to us, encourage them and show them how to love something about someone else. We all have something that is special about us, God made us that way. HE wants us all to be able to enjoy that special something about someone else.
Be blessed and encouraged today, it's your choice. ~ Delphine

Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
Proverbs 14:30
A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.
Deuteronomy 5:21
You shall not set your desire on your neighbor's house or land, his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
